Meet
Loizza Aquino
As a Filipino-Canadian who immigrated at a young age, Loizza quickly recognized the abundance of opportunities in the country her parents chose to call home. Since organizing her first fundraiser in fifth grade, her mission has remained the same: to build community, empower youth leadership, and prove that no act of change is ever too small. Every day, Loizza strives to lead by example and remind young people that they are never too young to make a positive impact in their communities. As a young person, immigrant, woman, and person of colour, she has become well-acquainted with adversity—but she embraces these challenges as opportunities for growth.
