Meet
Loizza Aquino
As a Filipino-Canadian who immigrated at a young age, Loizza recognized the plethora of opportunities in the new country her parents decided to call home. Loizza’s mission has not wavered since her very first fundraiser in 5th grade— to create a community, encourage youth leadership, and show the world that there is no such thing as a change too small. Everyday Loizza strives to lead by example and remind youth that you are never too young to make positive impact in your community. As a young person, immigrant, woman, and a person of colour, Loizza has become very familiar with adversity; but she finds comfort in knowing that these challenges are opportunities for growth.
